Karzai, Zardari, Ahmadinejad to Discuss A Number of Issues

BAKU - Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Pakistan in late February, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Affairs Mohammad Ali Fathollahi said, IRNA reported.
Fathollah added that Ahmadinejad will meet his counterparts from Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hamid Karzai and Asif Ali Zardari for trilateral talks.
The meeting is to include discussion on such topics as stability and peace in Afghanistan.

In June of 2011, at a six-nation counter-terrorism summit in Tehran, the presidents of Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan agreed to form a united front to combat terrorism and the rise of militancy in the region.
Heads of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan held three-way talks ahead of a six-nation counterterrorism conference, where they discussed "ways of battling terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking". (IRNA)
