Afghan  Security  Foundations Need $4b  Annually  After 2014

KABUL - A high-ranking US military general said that the Afghan security foundations need USD4 billion annually after 2014 when the international forces leave this country.
This US general reiterated that in case we the international coalition in struggle against terrorism wants to safeguard our victories in Afghanistan we need to maintain the security forces of Afghanistan.

It is expected that US president Barack Obama declare the detailed budget of the police and army of Afghanistan after 2014 at the meeting of NATO leaders to be organized in May of current year and ask the NATO leaders to cooperate in its financing, despite this the major portion of the expenses of the security forces of Afghanistan that is around USD4 billion is financed by the US administration.

Presently the major portion of the national army and the national police of Afghanistan is financed USD11.2 billion for the armed forces of Afghanistan during the current year. (BNA)
