Khalili Reiterates Continuing Afghan-Iran Friendly Ties, Cooperation

KABUL - Second vice-president Mohammad Karim Khalili had a farewell meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Afghanistan Feda Mohammad Hussain Maliki.
At the meeting Khalili praised efforts of Maliki towards attraction of assistance of Iran for reconstruction of Afghanistan and emphasized on continued cooperation and friendly relations between the two nations of Afghanistan and Iran.

He called Afghanistan and Iran as two fraternal countries having common bonds and thanked Iran for hosting the Afghan refugees in that country.

The Iranian ambassador enumerating the areas of cooperation between the two nations emphasized on further consolidation of bilateral ties in economic and cultural spheres between the two countries.

Touching on the common cultural and historical bonds of the two countries, he called expansion of bilateral and mutual cooperation as very important and assured of his country's continued cooperation to Afghanistan. (BNA)
