Dostum, Not Accused  to Treason:  Karzai

KABUL – President Hamid Karzai refused the accusation of Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum to national treason.
The president refused the accusation of Gen. Dostum to national treason by the Security Council while recently some reports broadcasted on Gen. Dostum's national treason.
A report presented by Ministry of Mines on interference of Gen. Dostum in foreign investments of Amu oil field and this issue is still not clear, Hamid Karzai said.

If this news is true, legal actions will be taken, otherwise we will punish the reporter.
President Karzai refused this news while he himself, his family and some of his relatives were blamed to national treason by the leaders of "Jebhey-e-Melli" in which Gen. Dostum is involved.

In addition, some members of "Jonbesh-e-Melli" supported Gen. Dostum and said, the security of Amu oil field has been assigned to a company belonging to Karzai's relatives and Gen. Dostum asked him to employ the local people instead of the others. (BNA)
