KABUL - President Hamid Karzai held separate meetings with the US Senator Lindsey Graham and ministers of Germany and Holland at the Presidential Palace in Kabul on Thursday.
A president's office press release available with the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) stated Hamid Karzai and US Senator Lindsey Graham discussed various bilateral issues, including situation of the region.

The US Senator assured the Afghan President Hamid Karzai that his country would continue political, military and economic support to Afghanistan.

The Afghan President Hamid Karzai also met the German Minister for Economics Dirk Niebel and Dutch Minister for International Cooperation Ben Knapen. The ministers vowed continued assistance with Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai lauded their assistance. (AIP)
