Kabul Residents Shares their Problems with Khalili

KABUL - The solidarity council of Chehel Dukhtaran, the social council of disabled and relatives of martyrs and elders of Khaushal Khan Mena had separate meetings with the second vice-president, Mohammad Karim Khalili, on Saturday.

To start with, the solidarity council of Chehel Dukhtaran shared their environmental problems with Khalili and asked for addressing their problems by the related organs.

They said that the transfer of a few jirib of government land that is planned for construction of a girls school, a hospital and a sports center on the Chehel Dukhtaran mountain slope related locality of 13 precinct of Kabul city, has remained unsolved.
They added that the order of president pertaining to transfer of the land is available but they do not know why it is not implemented so far.

They asked government organs to execute the order in order to resolve the problems of the residents.

Mohammad Karim Khalili assured the council that their problem will be addressed and he will issue order for implementation of the project.

Meanwhile, members of the social council of the disabled also shared their problems with Khalili saying that despite the fact that a part of the disabled have undergone education in new crafts, but they are facing problem of unemployment and other challenges for they are not provided jobs according to their abilities.

Khalili said that he realizes their needs adding that the disabled have big right on the government and the people of Afghanistan for those who have lost parts of their bodies in defending the honors of this country are the pride of the people.
He emphasized on addressing their problems and added that the government is exerting efforts for meeting the needs of the derived segment of the Afghan society who are pioneers in supporting of their government.

Meanwhile some elders of the Masjid (Mosque) Mousa ibn Jafar of Afshar met Khalili and asked for addressing their environment problems.

They said that despite the fact that some of the residents who have donated land for building of the mosque and they are not demanding its compensation but the attorney of the west zone is creating problems for them.

Khalili assured the residents and influential that their problems will be resolved and the related organs will carry on necessary assessment about this issue and their complaint will be addressed. (BNA)
