BSA Would Not to Be Signed Until Conditions are Met: ARG

KABUL - Deputy Spokesperson of Afghanistan presidential palace (ARG) said Saturday as long as Afghanistan conditions are not accepted, bilateral security agreements won’t be signed between Kabul and Washington.

The statement came after White House warned that BSA should be signed between Kabul and Washington in weeks not in months.

White House spokesperson told journalists in recent news conference, “We are talking on weeks not months.

We cannot leave any forces in Afghanistan and Afghan officials have to know that countdown has started.” The spokesperson has said in case of not signing the agreement, all US forces would leave Afghanistan and let Afghan security forces be alone for fight against Taliban and Al-Qaida.

Nevertheless, Adela Raz, spokesperson for Afghanistan presidential palace in an interview with BNA, “Afghanistan government stance has not been changed related to signing bilateral security agreement between Kabul and Washington, stressing that the agreement won’t be signed until the government conditions not accepted.”

Adela Raz added maintaining peace and stability in the country, complete stoppage of foreign military raids on Afghan villages and houses and demands of Consultative Loya Jirga related to transition of Gitmo prisoners to Afghanistan government were the only conditions of Afghanistan government for signing the agreement between Kabul and Washington.
