MAIDAN SHAR - The second vice president and interior minister of Afghanistan survived a rocket attack on Wednesday in the central province of MaidanWardak, officials said. Second Vice President KarimKhalili and Interior Minister BismillahMuhammadi were among officials participating in the inauguration ceremony of a police trainingcenter in the Tope desert when a rocket landed near the gathering around 10 am, the provincial governor’s spokesman, ShahidullahShahid, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
